This week our students attended their second field trip of the year, which was much warmer than our first outing. We traveled to the Ontario Science Centre, where we engaged in a day of hands-on discovery.
First we visited the wonderful weather exhibit, where we watch snow storms, and tornadoes, felt wind and danced up a rainstorm.
Students visited KidSpark, where they experimented with water, looked at shopped at their grocery store, tested rolling balls and much, much, more. Here we are at our activities.
The children also participated in a workshop with a scientist, Mr. A, who had us uncovering the mystery of the missing poison dart frogs. We examined evidence using magnifying glasses, black lights and their eyes to figure out which suspect committed the crime.
It was a wonderful day and we want to thank all of the parents who attended the trip, supervising students and ensuring we were safe.
